Dr. Brianna Hammer grew up in Orono, MN and was captain of the hockey and track teams while attending Orono High School. She completed her undergraduate studies at the University of Wisconsin – Madison and received a Bachelor of Science degree in Zoology.

Dr. Hammer received her Doctor of Dental Science degree from the University of Minnesota School of Dentistry in May of 2015. Dr. Hammer is also passionate about dental advocacy and participated in advocacy events at the state and national levels throughout dental school. The focus of her advocacy has been on advancing oral health care through improved prevention, access, and education. In the fall of 2014, Dr. Hammer also had the opportunity to participate in a dental exchange program to Bergen, Norway, where she spent several months treating patients and learning about oral health from an international perspective.

Dr. Brianna Hammer enjoys providing the full range of dental care from simple fillings to more complicated procedures such as crowns, root canal treatments, and dental implants. She has a special interest in the treatment of snoring and obstructive sleep apnea and so she has completed advanced training to make custom fitted oral appliances that are a comfortable alternative to CPAP therapy.

In her free time, Dr. Hammer enjoys spending time with her friends and family as well as taking pottery classes and being a member of a local book club. She tries to get away to the family cabin in northern Minnesota as often as possible to relax and enjoy the outdoors.
